Chase Lange is a 32 year-old college student currently attending Portland Community College where he is studying Business Administration. At the age of 24 Chase was making poor life decisions and landed himself in prison for 7 1/2 years. While in prison he made a conscious choice to change his life for the better. He started reading countless books and worked towards getting himself enrolled into the BCT (Building and Construction Technology) program at Snake River Correctional Institution. While waiting to join the program he discovered a hidden passion: Creativity. He started drawing and quickly realized that his artistic abilities were well beyond average. He was almost finished with the BCT program when the pandemic hit. As everything shut down, and with his education put on hold, he immersed himself into his artwork and discovered another passion: Magic the Gathering. After everything began to open back up he returned to his carpentry studies. After graduating the program he chose to stay on as a Tutor and teach other inmates the trade. After a while, he decided it was time to move on and tried to get into the South Fork Forest Camp where they do firefighting. While waiting to leave he had all of his privileges stripped away due to an unfortunate incident of misperception. Lo and behold this turned out to be another blessing because he discovered his love for tattooing. After his release from prison on November 8th, 2024 he has turned the page on that part of his life and is never looking back.
